My story

KENNEL ID #18804 Meet Lightning &#226&#154&#161&#239&#184&#143 Lightning is an 11-month-old Bichon Frise with a spunky personality and a heart ready to bond with his very own person. Up until now, Lightning has only lived alongside his littermate. While they’ve kept each other entertained with nonstop play and wrestling, it has also created something called “littermate syndrome.” This means Lightning hasn’t had the chance to learn how to navigate the world independently. Because of this, Lightning can be unsure around new people and dogs. He may bark or growl to show what he thinks is “dominance,” but really, he just needs guidance, patience, and consistency to help him grow into his best self. With training and gentle structure, he’ll quickly learn that the world isn’t so scary. What Lightning needs most is a home of his own where he isn’t overshadowed by a sibling and can thrive with individual attention. He would do best with an adopter who understands dogs with big personalities, is committed to positive training, and is ready to invest the time to help him blossom into the loyal companion he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a young, smart Bichon who just needs the right direction and love, Lightning could be the spark your home is missing! &#226&#154&#161  Adoption Fee: $400 Thank you for your interest in rescue.  If you would like to be considered for  adoption,  please submit an application to adopt.  If you have any questions regarding the adoption process, please email:  rescuedp2024@icloud.com  or ddlu219@yahoo.com   for dog/puppies.    APPLICATIONS TO ADOPT : DOG         BIRD        REPTILE          SMALL ANIMALS        September 9, 2025, 11:34 pm
