My story

Oh Rudy! How adorable is this puppy!  Rudy is an almost 5 month old, male, mini aussie and pug mix. Rudy has some of the aussie speckling and the longer fur. He currently weighs 9.8 pounds and is expected to be 18-20 pounds when full grown. Rudy is the friendliest and most outgoing of his litter. He will need an adopter that will ensure he gets an extra check up or 2 as he currently has a stage 2 heart murmur. Our vet feels that this could resolve on its own as Rudy continues to age. He suspects that by the time he is 1 year old that the PDA will close, therefore resolving the heart murmur. Please research this and make sure it is something you are able to provide for just in case it does not resolve. The care however shouldn't be extensive, just monitoring and possibly some heart medication in his later years. He is currently growing perfectly and meeting all milestones without any syptoms of heart problems. Rudy is potty trained in his foster home with doggie door access but transitional accidents should be expected as he adjusts to a new routine.
