My story

Hi, I’m Phoebe! I’m a luxurious indoor life kitten. I’m a silky-soft sweet girl with the loudest purr you’ve ever heard! I want to be heard. I can be a bit sneaky (or smart, as my foster mom calls me). I like to climb, open drawers, and I even figured out how to turn off the radio. Yup, don’t try to play the news with me around. I like dance music. I love, love, love a wand toy! I’ll play with it for hours if you can keep up! I also have some impressive zoomie skills. I recently started showing interest in my foster mom’s lap, so I have potential to be a lap kitty, but right now I have too much energy to sit still for long! Are you interested in adopting Phoebe or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center or Timber Drive next to Home Depot).
