PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. DYLAN VAN HELSING, her moms (SCARETT and VANESSA VAN HELSING) and her siblings (AXEL MILLER and VIOLET & JACK VAN HELSING) was saved by the Rescue Mama. So one day while on Facebook, Rescue Mama saw that there were 2 very young cats living in a back yard. Long story short, we rescued the girls and right before their vet appointment they had kittens. We are not sure which kittens belong to which mom because they were born in the middle of the night and both sisters nursed them. So now the babies are fully vetted and ready for their FUREVER homes. Meet DYLAN VAN HELSING, a chatty and bossy little princess with a big personality. This diluted calico Maine Coon kitten is small in stature due to a tough start in life, but she more than makes up for her size with her confident, fearless attitude. She isn't shy about making her presence known and has already appointed herself in charge of the household, including the much larger adult cats who follow her lead. Despite her diminutive size, DYLAN VAN HELSING is a powerhouse of energy and athleticism. She is an intense and agile player who goes absolutely crazy for wand toys. Playtime with DYLAN VAN HELSING is a full-body experience that sometimes includes a growl or two during an intense game of tug-of-war. When not playing with her toys, DYLAN VAN HELSING is happy to create her own entertainment and can self-entertain better than her siblings. She is a social butterfly and extremely sweet with her littermates, especially AXEL MILLER and JACK VAN HELSING, matching their energy and confidence perfectly. When it comes to meeting new cats, she can be a little hissy and swatty at first, but she settles down and makes friends. While she is a dominant little cat, her assertiveness doesn't last once she is comfortable. DYLAN VAN HELSING is a forward cat who will make her wants known to her humans. Her fluffy tail, a hallmark of her confidence, is always held high in the air. While she has a big personality, she also has a soft and cuddly side. When it's time to unwind, she loves to snuggle and sleep with her humans, doing well in both busy and calm home environments. She also loves to be around her people and can often be found observing everything going on in her surroundings. DYLAN VAN HELSING is an opinionated, loving cat who will bring endless entertainment and cuddles to a family that appreciates her big-cat-in-a-small-body attitude. DYLAN VAN HELSING is a DOMESTIC LONG HAIR / MAINCOON MIX. She is about 5 months old. She is good with cats, children and dogs. DYLAN VAN HELSING is currently at a foster home in North Hollywood, California. ******We do not do adoptions of any kitten under 8 months, if there is no other cat in the home. It must be a young cat. Not a senior cat ****** ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********** SEPTEMBER 2025: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. +++++ PLEASE NOTE: We only have cats in Murrieta and City of Industry +++++ PETSMART in City of Industry, California off Colima Road in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************ If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. DYLAN VAN HELSING is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $250 covers: Spay FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
