My story

Noma A17779231 lb. spayed female, approx 2 years old -She was a little nervous outside with the wind and found comfort in my lap for pets and kisses-There were birds all over the yard stealing treats and she was 2 feet away and couldn’t care less. Very non reactive and seems to not have a prey drive.-She is super food motivated! She knows how to “sit” and will do tippy taps in anticipation for them. Takes them decently.-Not currently playing with toys-Enjoys curling up in your lap for pets-Good girl!-Easy to handle while out for a walk….no pulling-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids •Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
