At West Valley Animal Rescue, we do things a bit differently. While many rescues take days to respond or never reply at all, we move fast. Patrick Mahomes is a 14lb all black schnauzer who loves being part of family life. He is one of seventeen purebred Miniature Schnauzer brothers we rescued from a breeder facing health issues. He does well with children and other dogs, is crate trained, and understands how to use a dog door. Patrick is ready to brighten the days of his forever family with love and joy. Because these schnauzers are so similar in temperament, we gave each one a different groom to help tell them apart. Please don’t choose a dog based on their haircut — any of them can be styled like the others with a skilled groomer. Patrick’s adoption donation includes his age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, groom, neuter, microchip, collar and leash. Apply below to adopt Patrick. We are a foster-based rescue with homes mainly in Goodyear and Buckeye. If approved, you’ll meet a volunteer or foster family at a local pet store we partner with or at a foster home for adoption.
