My story
ABBA was apprehensive and a bit scared when she first arrived, as is common among many pets entering a shelter. With some TLC and a few days getting acclimated to her new surroundings and routine, she has warmed to our team. She walks well on leash, will press her head and back into you and give you her belly for rubs, and then pop up with the “zoomies.” She has had positive interactions with other dogs through fence greetings, parallel walking, and some on-leash romping.
