My story

Birthday: December 30, 2021 Cute, friendly, and smart? This girl checks every box!  Pumpkin is a very soft tabby, with cute white booties, who is full of love and lives to cuddle. Her original owner wanted to euthanize her due to her weight and attendant problems, but the vet called LCCR to save her. Thanks goodness too because this girl was made to make someone's life better. Sure, she might be overweight, but we're working to fix that. She's already lost 2 1/2 pounds, and we hope her future adopter can help her lose a few more. Despite her weight, her health is excellent.  Of course, size isn't what she's known for. No, this little lady is one of the smartest kitties you'll ever meet. Her foster taught her to come when called and to get all sorts of exercise using a clicker and low-cal Churu. (Check out her video!) She learned all that very quickly, and she's capable of learning even more. Very sedentary when she arrived, she now enjoys her cat trees, especially when the sun shines on them, and playing with wand toys. She's even been outside on a harness and leash a little bit.  So what are you waiting for? Bring this little smarty home and be ready to be doted on by this cuddle-kitty. Who knows? Maybe she'll teach YOU a thing or two.  Pumpkin needs to be an only cat, but there's so much love in her that she can barely contain it! She'll do best in quieter home with adults and older, considerate children.  Pumpkin's adoption donation is $115 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip and spay.
