My story

A volunteer writes:Kurt means brave and bold in German language. Kurt was neither upon arrival at the care center and for days...He is also known per his family to be a shy guy...Kurt is  now much more outgoing. I knew he was a good cat when I first met him. He just needed a little bit more time to decompress and start to trust us. He is quite handsome, beautifully dressed in his tiger suit and healthy looking(although he presently has a little cold). He used to be at the back of his cubby, complying with petting but worried about it.. Now, Kurt comes forward, leans into pets and purrs. He is truly seeking company and love. I really love this kitty, his feline beauty, the fact that he conquered his fears and his sweet disposition. One year old Kurt is a cat for you to meet, fall in love with and take home as a forever best friend for years to come! What my friends at ACC say about me:I have lived with cats in my previous home.Kurt has made wonderful improvements since his last assessment and came forward in the cubby, enjoying all petting, leaning in for cheek rubs, giving little head bunts, and eating treats. He is much improved.Kurt interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 10.7 Age: 1yrs 0mths 3wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Kurt, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
