My story

Meet Scone: Your Tea-Time Snuggle Buddy Craving a cozy companion? Scone is a 2.5-year-old grey-and-white gentleman with a heart warm as a fresh bake. He’s neutered, vaccinated, FeLV/FIV negative, dewormed, and in excellent health—fully vetted and ready to bring sweetness to your home. Scone was part of our original “kitten pastry batch,” adopted with his sibling. Recently, a kind homeowner kept him safe for three months after finding him abandoned, and now he’s back with us, ready to settle into his forever catfé—er, home—where love and attention are always on the menu. This boy is buttery-soft in the affection department. He adores lap time, purrs like a kettle on, and even drools a little when he’s extra happy. He enjoys being held, doesn’t mind being picked up, and provides endless entertainment with his favorite tunnel toy. Scone’s chatty “grumble” meow is just his way of sharing his opinions while he rubs against you—think of it as tea-time conversation. Scone would do best in a calm kitchen. He’s had cat experience, but in his current foster he’s a bit sensitive to the sounds of other felines, so he’d thrive as the only pet or with a very patient resident cat. He is not a fan of dogs, so a dog-free home is a must. He has recently been exposed to children in his foster home, and he loves a gentle kid to snuggle with. Give Scone a little time to proof, and he’ll rise into the sweetest, most laid-back lap cat. Indoor-only, lots of love, and a dash of patience are his perfect recipe. Ready to add a dollop of joy to your days? Come meet Scone—your perfect companion for quiet mornings and cozy nights.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Scone OBCR-1605, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
