Current Location: Herndon, VA Horace: The Best of Both Worlds Looking for the perfect balance in a cat? Meet Horace, a 2-year-old buff tabby with a soft, fluffy coat and an even softer heart. He’s the rare mix of affectionate cuddle-bug and independent soul, giving you the best of both worlds. Energy and Personality Horace is as versatile as they come. Want a snuggler? He’ll curl right up with you. Want a playmate? He’s ready to pounce and play. Need a little quiet? He’s perfectly content to enjoy his alone time without fuss. Social Life Horace warms up quickly to new people and is happy meeting dogs. He would thrive as an only pet or in a home with other animals that respect his space when first being introduced. His play style can sometimes be a little rough (he’s still working on gentle play and may get mouthy), but with consistency and clear boundaries, he’s learning fast. Special Traits - Gorgeous buff tabby with a plush coat - Affectionate with people but values his independence too - Gets along with dogs and enjoys new friends - Playful, goofy, and a quick study with manners Best Home Fit Horace would do well in a wide range of homes. Families with young kids should be aware of his occasional play biting, but he’s already improving with redirection.
