DOB: Jan 28, 2024 Crosby came to TCR from a city shelter but not much is known of his past history. It’s obvious he loves people, but the shelter notes describe him seemingly a bit lost, and that’s a good way to describe him. At times he seems insecure in not knowing where he should be or what he should do. He wants to be near people but can also sometimes get a bit overstimulated and may try to nip. However, the longer he is out of the shelter, the less he is showing this behaviour; but his new family should pay close attention to his body language. While he can get along with cats, he has been showing his insecurity in acting in a dominant manner to some of the other cats in his foster home. Yet at other times they get along perfectly fine. Until he feels secure in his home, it would be best for him to be the only cat. Later, another cat can be added to the household. One thing he is sure of is his inherent need to accompany his humans to the bathroom. While there, he is happy to roll around and pose, showing off his furry belly! This poor boy just needs a home and a human of his own that he can love and snuggle up to. Will you be that person for him?
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Crosby, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
