My story

Hi, my name is Lucy and Yes I am a boy. I am looking for a home that I can be indoor/outdoor. I have quite a story that follows me so I will try to be a brief as possible. My first mom, thought I was a girl when I was a baby so that is how I got my name as Lucy. She decided to just leave it as is. I don't really like being around other cats, they steal attention from me, but I am awesome with Pigs and Dogs. My first mom has 2 pot belly pigs so they were like my siblings. I have 2 mom's. My first mom that raised me and my second mom that I adopted in another neighborhood. My second mom adopted me as an outdoor cat and called me Mystery. I was not able to tell her that I had another mom. She took care of me for approx 8 years until one day, my first mom put a collar on me with my name and phone number. That is when my 2 moms met. My double life finally came out in the open. My 2 moms began talking and agreed that they would co-parent me. I was ok with that because I had the best of both worlds. Then one day my first mom decided to adopt a kitten. I was not happy with that so I decided that I wanted to live with my second mom. I was living outside and loving it. I had lots of freedom and I was living in a safe area.  I am very friendly and love to go see people. My friendly attitude got me into trouble. One of my second mom's neighbors decided he don't like me and has made it very difficult for my second mom. I got on his car and this did not make him very happy so he reported me to Animal Control and to the Condo Association. My second mom and my first mom decided that maybe I needed to find another home where I can be outside and inside but somewhere where I won't cause any trouble. I don't mean to cause trouble, I think all humans should love me, but unfortunately there are humans that don't feel the same way back. Both of my mom's are having a hard time with this. I am currently living indoors so I don't get in that neighbors way but she has several cats and I don't like being around the cats. I need a home where I can safely be outside when I want and come indoors when I choose. I want a family that will love me as I am because I love being around people and I love the freedom that I have when I am outside. Please help me find that home. Update: I have been tested FIV+. I am healthy and don’t show any signs of being ill, but my moms feel that it might be best if I find a home with no cats so I can adjust to living indoors. Maybe a home with a secured outdoor patio so I can feel like I am outside. For my health, this may be the better option.   C.A.T.S.-C.A.N., Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Geneva, Florida.
