My story

Though Melia is a happy-go-lucky goofball now, her story started with heartbreak. At her young age of just 1 year old, she found herself in active labor and experiencing severe distress. Luckily, animal control stepped in and got her the care she needed. The shelter foster volunteers intervened quickly to ensure her surviving babies could have the best chance at life and Melia could finally experience a life of safety and eventually find rescue. Now, Melia is soaking up all the attention and love she can get! Her personality was finally able to shine, and she hasn’t stopped telling us how grateful she is since. This little chatterbox is not afraid to use her voice to announce mealtime, request cuddles, and make all the conversation – she always has something to say! After all she has been through, her foster lets Melia talk his ears off and always tries to show her some extra attention when she is in an extra talkative mood! Melia is a young lady at just over a year young. She just needs someone to spend the rest of her days with where she can get all the attention and love she deserves. Conversationalists wanted. Melia has had age-appropriate vetting, is FeLV/FIV negative, microchipped and has been spayed. FREE wellness visit with adoption.
