My story

ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Aesoon Age: 6 years old Gender: Female Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Mixed Colour: Brown Weight: 6kg / 13lbs Microchipped: Yes   MY RESCUE STORY Hi, I’m Aesoon. I survived a forest fire in the Kyeongbook region while chained up with no way to escape. Using all the strength and instinct I had, I dug a hole in the ground and stayed there, praying for the best as the fire passed. Sadly, none of my puppies made it, even though I tried my best to protect them. After the fire, rescuers freed me from my chain, but I still tried to return to where my puppies were.   Even after such heartbreak, I haven’t lost my gentle and loving spirit. I adore people, lean into affection, and am so ready for a second chance at life. I’m looking for a forever family who will love me, keep me safe, and let me finally leave my past behind.   MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete) I’ve been neutered and have no known health issues.   MY PERSONALITY When you first meet me, you’ll notice how small and adorable I am! With my soft brown fur, short little legs, and floppy ears, I almost look like a puppy myself. It’s hard to believe I once had puppies of my own, but my strong motherly instincts shine through in the way I care and connect with people.   I’m incredibly sweet and gentle, with a calm and quiet nature that makes me easy to be around. I can be a little shy at first, but once I feel safe, I’ll become your loyal shadow—following you from room to room, quietly asking for love and affection. I’m the kind of companion who brings a soft, steady comfort into your home and heart.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I’m a little shy at first and prefer not to be petted right away—I just need a bit of time to feel safe. That said, I’ll happily take treats from your hand ever so gently, and once I begin to trust you, my true sweetness shines through. I love to roll over and show my belly as a sign of comfort, and once I feel secure, you can even scoop me up into your arms.   I never guard my food against people, and with a little patience and kindness, I’ll blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. With strangers, I may need a few days to fully warm up, but once I do, I’ll give my whole heart in return.   With Dogs:  I enjoy greeting new dogs and saying hello, but after that, I usually prefer to do my own thing. I get along best with dogs closer to my size, as high-energy pups can feel a little overwhelming for me. I’m pretty laid-back and tend to stay indifferent with my fellow dog friends.   I value my peace and prefer to avoid drama—if another dog gets a little spicy, I simply walk away and mind my own business. I don’t guard my food against other dogs either, which makes me an easy companion to be around.   With Cats:  I haven’t met any cats yet, so my reaction is unknown. That said, with my gentle nature, I may do well with thoughtful greetings and dog-savvy cat homes.    ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a low energy level and consider myself a true couch potato at heart. I love nothing more than lounging around and taking it easy—after all, who doesn’t enjoy a good rest? I’m perfectly content to relax by your side and soak up the calm moments.   TRAINING & HABITS I do pull at times on leash, but overall I follow my handler’s lead well. I walk best in quieter areas where I can relax, since loud noises like cars can spook me. For my safety, I’ll need to be double-leashed with both a harness and collar whenever I’m outside. If I do get scared, my first instinct is to run, so until I’m fully settled and bonded with my forever family, any off-leash time should be in a secure, enclosed space with supervision. Once I feel safe, my sweet and cuddly side shines through—I love leaning my head in close and asking for gentle pet rubs.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me grow and become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a fun, structured, and safe environment where I can learn, explore, and learn to become confident.  A family that enjoys outdoor activities and spending quality time together. A family that can shower me with love and attention.  A family that understands I am shy and have some fears of loud noises and new environments. I need precaution and extra supervision in new places.    SPECIAL NOTES I survived a very rough chapter in my life where I almost lost everything, even my life. But I don’t let my dark past define me or take away my shine. Deep down, I’m a gentle, sweet, and cuddly soul just waiting for the right family to see me for who I truly am. With love, patience, and care, I know I will blossom into my best self and finally get to share all the affection and joy I’ve been holding inside.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Aesoon’s YouTube Playlist ##2508826##
