Pumi

My story

** Current location: in a foster home in South Korea ** Pumi and her four puppies were rescued from an abandoned breeding site deep in the mountains. When found, Pumi’s eyes were oozing, her fur was in tatters, yet she still wagged her tail and leaned into people at the sound of a voice. At the time of rescue, she had no pupil reflex, and both eyes were severely protruding. She was rushed to the hospital as an emergency case, where both of her eyes had to be removed. • Personality: Low-maintenance, Gentle, Kind • Affinity with - Dogs: Good with other dogs - Cats: Not tested - Adults/Kids: Great with all people • Walking Manners: Well-mannered, walking calmly, sniffing around. Has a good recall. • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, going potty outdoors 4 times a day. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good. • Car Sickness: Rides well in the car. • Separation Anxiety: Zero. • Barks/Howls: None. • Appetite/Food Allergies: Good eater. No allergies found so far. • Shedding level (1~10): 1 • Likes/Dislikes: Loves treats and cuddles! Likes to rest in a crate. • Health: At the time of rescue, she had no pupil reflex, and both eyes were severely protruding. She was rushed to the hospital as an emergency case, where both of her eyes had to be removed.
