My story

Meet Duke, He is an 8 month old spaniel havanese mix. We were contacted by a family that had 2 unaltered females that had puppies. Five dog quickly multiplied into fifteen. Duke has not really been outside but he is a snuggly boy. Although his family loves him theres no way they can provide for 15 properly. He was infested with fleas when we first visited him but since then we have provided medical care. We vaccinated him, did a heartworm test (negative), microchip, flea and tick prevention and wellness exam. He does have an ear infection but is currently undergoing treatment and will make a full recovery. Duke is overall a very healthy boy. He will need an adopter that will be patient with him since he's essentially coming from a hoarding case. His eyes are so expressive and wise. He will be scheduled for is neuter within the next few weeks which will be covered by Magnolia Animal Rescue at one of our approved vet partners.
