My story

Skyler devoted eight years of her life to a family and then on 9/2 she was surrendered. Two reasons were given- they were moving and the other the health of the owner. It was not Skyler‘s fault as she is very sweet and well mannered. She is looking forward to being adopted by a family in which she is cherished like she deserves. Skyler is an eight year-old 67 pound Akita mix that is already spayed. The surrender form reported that she was an indoor dog, is housebroken, and lived with other dogs and got along fine with them. She has not been exposed to children. She is adorable, and is short of stature and very stocky. She needs to be put on a sensible diet and taken for walks for exercise. She does walk very well on a leash. After she explored the yard she did stay close. She’s very alert. She does not act her age. She’s happy and wags her tail constantly. She’s well mannered and doesn’t jump on you. She wants to be an inside dog and would love a cushy bed or a pile of blankets. She has saved up her love to lavish on her new family.
