Falcon always knew he wanted to be a housecat; he just didn't know how to be one. His dreams are a reality now, and he has been brave, learning what it means to feel safe and loved. Now he is ready for his forever person—someone patient, gentle, and devoted, who will delight in his quirks, treasure his lap-dives, and know the joy of being chosen by a cat with a heart as big as his. Falcon’s love languages are physical touch and quality time. He purrs deeply with his person, presses into your hand, and sometimes cannonballs straight into your lap in a joyful rush of affection. When he is excited, he will head butt your hand, your elbow, or even his dinner plate. He’ll hang near you while you work if you bring him over, and he’ll curl up with you at night because he's happy to be with his person. He feels safest with cozy retreats and soft blankets—his little “kitty-rito” tent is his happy place. Falcon is quiet and observant, with sudden bursts of play. With guests, he often observes before deciding to join. He isn’t chatty, but he communicates clearly through body language, slow blinks, and the occasional chirp when he’s excited. In his first days, Falcon may hide. By the second week, he may begin to accept gentle pets. With time, he blossoms into meal-time companionship and bedtime cuddles (his favorite), and the comfort of all the soft spots in the house. He will do best in a calm, adult household, ideally with someone home part-time to give him consistency as he continues to build confidence. Dog sociability: Possibly with proper introduction to calm, cat-friendly dog! Cat sociability: Likely with proper slow introduction! Kid sociability: Hasn't met any! Likes: high-loft blankets, cozy nooks, freeze-dried minnows, being doted on, feeling safe, and a solid petting or massage session. Dislikes: Being touched on unauthorized locations, surprises that he can't prepare for, loud environments. The adoption fee is $100. All cats are up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Falcon, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
