My story

Housetrained: Yes – Tiger reliably goes potty outside now. Litter box trained: Not applicable. Good with dogs: Yes – he enjoys playing and interacting with other dogs. Good with cats: Yes – Tiger has gotten along well with cats. Good with kids: Yes – Tiger loves attention and is gentle with children. Leash training: Tiger loves going for walks! Sometimes he playfully grabs the leash like he wants to walk himself. Crate training: Doing well with crate time, settles after a few minutes. Other training/commands: Learning “sit” and “come,” and very treat- and attention-motivated. Personal history: Tiger was found by me (his foster) at a gas station on Marbach, very skinny and in need of care. He has since been thriving with love and proper nutrition. Dog’s Characteristics 1. Cuddling behavior/affection level: Very affectionate – loves hugs, being petted, and will ask for attention with sweet eye contact and gentle nudges. 2. Play behavior/favorite toys: Loves his pink dinosaur and chicken toy (which he proudly “borrowed” from another dog). He plays with them often and even sleeps with them. Enjoys squeaky toys and interactive play. 3. Activity level: Playful puppy energy balanced with couch potato vibes. He enjoys walks and playtime but is also happy to snuggle on the couch and nap while watching TV. 4. Adjectives: Loving, playful, attentive, goofy, cuddly. 5. Examples of adjectives: Loving: Stares into your eyes and rests his head on you for attention. Playful: Carries toys everywhere, sometimes tries to walk himself with the leash. Attentive: Loves car rides and watches everything around him with curiosity. Goofy: Sits on the big couch like a human to watch TV. Cuddly: Always ready for hugs and snuggles. 6. Best qualities: His affectionate personality and eagerness to connect with people. 7. Favorite things/cute behaviors: He makes “pretty eyes” at you until you play with him or cuddle him, and he’ll snuggle up while you watch TV. 8. Favorite physical characteristics: His expressive eyes, sweet face, and soft puppy fur. 9. Ideal home: A loving family or individual who enjoys cuddles, playtime, and adventures like car rides and walks. He’d thrive in a home where he gets plenty of attention and companionship. 10. Stand-out quality for adopters: Tiger has the perfect balance of playful puppy energy and calm companionship. He’s attentive, loving, and has already shown how resilient and joyful he can be after a rough start. --- Medical/Behavior Issues 1. Medical issues: None known – healthy and gaining weight after being found underweight. 2. Behavior issues: None beyond normal puppy playfulness. He may try to grab the leash, but redirects easily. 3. Other concerns: Just needs continued puppy training and lots of love.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tiger, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
