My story

We made a shocking discovery during Logan’s recent grooming 😈 😱 When he first came to us he didn’t really seem that bad, he let us shave his severely matted hair without an issue after the owners said he was too aggressive to groom, and he seemed pretty friendly and social. He had us fooled. Now that he’s settled in he’s shown his demon side in full force and we now understand why he was passed around so many times before coming to us. This 7 year old Maltese is under 10lbs and looks like a perfect furry angel when he dances on his hind legs begging for attention and smiling. That’s how he traps you. Then once you are deeply enamored 😖 👹 the real Logan emerges. Don’t talk to him when he’s eating. Don’t take his toys. Only pick him up when he comes over asking for it. Don’t interrupt his evil plans whatever they may be that day. Just bribe him with food to make him think what you want him to was his idea all along, and everything will go smoothly. He is mostly ok with other dogs as long as they follow the same rules, he’s done some jump scares and chased off some of our much more evil dogs and can definitely hold his own in a tough crowd. Logan is tired of getting passed around and we want his next home to be permanent. We could sugar coat his issues, but we don’t want to have to be called to exorcise him from yet another home. He’s not a snuggly lapdog, no dress up, keep your face out of his face and just let him do his thing and you will probably be allowed to live. Email njwoof@cs.com if you like little dogs with a big attitude and are brave enough to bring Logan home. *Disclaimer- the devil horns are AI, the rest of the dog isn’t 😝 His aren’t visible from the outside and all in his mind 😈 Since COVID-19, we are no longer holding our Sunday adoption events until further notice, but we are scheduling meet and greet appointments with a specific dog or dogs at our meeting spots in Northern NJ. To streamline adoptions, all communication before, during, and after the adoption process is done through email only: we have limited volunteers able to return phone calls. Submit an application from our website www.secondchance.petfinder.com to speed up the adoption process and email any questions to us at njwoof@cs.com. Please check your email regularly for next steps. All our dogs reside in foster care in Northern NJ until adoption and we do not have a central shelter location. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Logan-EVIL, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
