My story

Hi! I’m really sweet, loving, and playful. I sometimes feel nervous in new situations, so please have patience with me. I like treats, toys, affection, and chewing (chew toys a must!). He is a sweet, sensitive, energetic boy who wants to please but isn’t always sure how. He loves to get his energy out by running and chasing toys, and would love a yard to sniff and explore in. During the workday, he enjoys naps and a good chew, and can go for several hours in his crate with a stuffed kong. Walking around the neighborhood and seeing the many people and dogs can be a little overwhelming. CJ loves to learn and is eager to train (so long as yummy treats are provided!)—praise and positive reinforcement help continue to boost his confidence. After a good play session, CJ’s favorite thing is to snuggle up, put his head on your lap, and snooze next to you on the couch. At bedtime, he sleeps through the night in his crate without a peep. If you’re looking for a companion who loves to play, spend his day hanging out with you, and cuddle while watching tv at night, CJ could be the guy for you!September 2, 2025, 11:58 am
