My story

  Meet Niko, a purebred Mini Bull Terrier with the heart of a survivor and the spirit of a puppy rediscovering joy. This sweet boy is just 3 years old, a perfectly petite 25 pounds, and his journey so far has been one of resilience. For most of his young life, Niko knew nothing but confinement — trapped in a crate for 22 hours a day, neglected and forgotten. But thanks to a kind-hearted Bull Terrier lover who couldn’t look away from his suffering, Niko was given a second chance. With love, care, and patience, he’s blossomed into a healthy, happy, housebroken little guy who is ready to find his forever family. Niko adores people and craves connection. He gets along well with dogs who have a calmer energy (he currently lives peacefully with a senior Bull Terrier), but he cannot live with cats and would do best in a home without young children. Because of his past, he can get excitable in chaotic environments, so a calm, stable household is exactly what he needs. He’s whip-smart, eager to please, and still discovering the simple joys of being a dog. If you know the Bull Terrier breed and have the patience and love to give Niko the stability he’s never known, you’ll be rewarded with a devoted companion who will never take you for granted.   Niko has already overcome so much — now he just needs the right home to help him thrive.
