My story

Meet Sparky, an adorable 5-year-old, 20-pound Chihuahua mix with a heart full of love and a personality that will warm your soul. This sweet boy is happiest when he’s curled up in your lap, soaking up affection. He has the cutest trick—standing on his hind legs for treats—and it’s guaranteed to make you smile every time. Sparky gets along well with other dogs, making him a wonderful companion for a home with furry friends. He is fully potty trained and does well in a kennel, though his favorite place to sleep is right next to his people. At night, he’ll happily snuggle in bed, offering both warmth and comfort. While car rides make him a little anxious at first, Sparky quickly settles down—especially if he can rest his head on your neck or arm for reassurance. This gentle, affectionate gesture is his way of saying, “I trust you.” Sparky is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He has also successfully completed heartworm treatment, so he’s ready for a fresh start and a lifetime of love. With his sweet nature and loyal personality, Sparky is looking for a forever family who will cherish his companionship and enjoy his endearing quirks.
