Meet Apricot! Adoption fee: $325 Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 This beautiful little orange girl is as rare as her name. Apricot came to us when one of our vets visited the local shelter to give rabies vaccines and ended up bringing six sickly kittens back with her. At first, we weren’t sure her eye could be saved, but thanks to the incredible work of our ophthalmologist, Apricot kept her eye! You may notice her right eye looks a little different, but she sees, plays, and lives just like any other kitten. Apricot is a healthy, happy, and very sweet kitten who has blossomed in her foster home. She loves romping around with the other kittens and would be happiest being adopted with a playmate or joining a family that already has a young cat to keep her company. If you’re looking for a precious and resilient little companion who will bring joy to your home, Apricot is your girl. Apply today to make her part of your family! All kittens are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, and litter box trained. While they can be adopted separately, we’d love to see them go in pairs—they’ve been together since the beginning and share such a sweet bond. Give one (or two!) of these babies the forever home they deserve. Apply today—our next transport is coming soon! Having a feline friend can be incredibly beneficial for their social and emotional well-being, providing comfort and support throughout their lives. All pets are microchipped, and the registration fee paid for lifetime. The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter. PDAR.info@gmail.com COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have. NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption. If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Apricot, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
