My story

Microchipped, DOB: April 10, 2024 Nala is such a loving cat. She comes running when you call her name in a high pitched voice, she is so excited to hear her name. She is a loud purrer and purrs easily so you always know exactly how she is feeling. She loves to snuggle and makes eye contact as a way to communicate her affection and gratitude. She's a very communicative and intelligent cat. Nala and the cat at her foster home took a while to warm up to each other, with some hissing and growling to start off, but after about a month of getting used to each other they now play and snooze beside each other happily. From her new foster friend Nala learned how to fetch her favourite mouse toy and she runs after it and brings it back in her mouth to you and drops it on the ground. She loves chasing rainbows made from crystals in the window sunlight. She also loves fresh water every morning. Nala came into foster care pregnant and quite weak and underweight. She hid and was scared of everything at first but she didn't take too long to warm up and earn trust though. She needed dental work done as well, and recovered easily and quickly. Nala is litterbox trained and is a good eater but she does still have some more weight to gain but after nursing 5 kittens, but she'll catch up soon. Note from Nala's foster family: If we didn't already adopt a foster cat, we would have easily chosen Nala. She doesn't do well with young children but she would be happy with another cat and a calm quiet home where there are lots of people to give her attention. She loves to look out all the windows and is interested in anything that moves. She will lay down right beside you and then roll over for you to scratch her belly and then playfully and gently nip at you. She is so so gentle. This girl truly deserves a forever home where she will feel loved and safe.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Nala, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
