My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog H:7Meet Lisa Lisa, the 1-year-old, 75-pound Doberman Pinscher mix with a love for life! She's still young and full of puppy excitement, so she’s looking for a home where she can continue to thrive with training, structure, and lots of socialization. This big, beautiful girl has a sweet, easygoing demeanor when it comes to her humans. Whether it’s tug-of-war or just some good ol’ playtime, she’s always up for fun. She can be a little nippy and jumpy due to her youthful enthusiasm, so she may be best suited for a home without young kids. Lisa Lisa has a blast when she's around other dogs in shelter playgroups. She greets them with exaggerated play bows and is always ready for a game of chase. She's looking for active adopters who can give her the attention, exercise, and training she needs to become her best self.
