My story

Meet Tonya – A Shy Girl with a Gentle Heart 💕 Tonya is a quiet, cautious kitty who is still learning to feel safe and trust the world around her. Compared to some of her feline friends, she’s a bit more reserved—she may give you a hiss at first, but she’ll still allow gentle pets once she realizes you mean no harm. Life in a kennel makes it difficult to see her full personality, but when Tonya gets the chance to stretch her legs, she shows a curious side—exploring her surroundings and playing with wand toys. Each day she grows braver and more comfortable, especially as she spends time with the volunteers who care for her. She’s already starting to understand that humans can be kind and loving. Tonya is bonded with her sister, Trish and they must be adopted together. They would thrive in a patient, understanding home where they can set the pace and slowly come out of their shells. With time, trust, and gentle encouragement, they have the potential to blossom into devoted and loving companions.
