My story

🐾 Meet Bear – Your Future Best Friend! 🐾 This handsome young fella, Bear, came into the shelter on August 29, 2025 as a stray. His owner never came to reclaim him—but we believe that’s because his real forever family hasn’t met him yet. Maybe that’s you! šŸ¶šŸ’™ Bear is a 2-year-old bundle of energy, current on all his vaccinations, and ready to find a loving, committed home that will keep him safe, secure, and off the streets for good. While he’s been a familiar face at the shelter over the past year, we know this smart, playful boy has so much potential. He just needs someone who’s willing to give him a chance—and a little guidance. 🦓 What Bear Needs: ✨ A dedicated owner to help him with manners and basic training ✨ A loving home full of patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement ✨ Someone who sees the amazing adult dog he’s becoming Bear is eager to learn and aims to please—he just needs the right person or people to help him become the best version of himself. He’s got a heart full of love and is waiting for someone to share it with. šŸ’› Could Bear be your next adventure buddy? Stop by the shelter and meet him today! šŸ›”ļø Pet Owner Tip: Don't forget to protect your pets with yearly veterinary care and monthly heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. Just one mosquito bite can transmit heartworms—but one small chew a month can protect your pup for life. šŸ¦Ÿā¤ļø Let’s keep them safe, healthy, and loved—just like Bear deserves. 🐾

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bear, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
