My story

HOW TO ADOPT: This kitten is available for adoption by appointment. To schedule a time to meet this kitten, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.---- Curious, focused and adventuresome; loves to explore every nook and cranny of her foster home and is turning out to be an excellent bug-catcher- Loves feather toys and likes to hide them inside boxes and cloth bags; her foster family said she gets the zoomies multiple times a day - Arrived at the ARL very shy and undersocialized and has made HUGE strides in her foster home; still can be tentative around new people, but playing with her or giving her tasty treats helps her warm up - she especially loves tuna or other fish-flavored treats, as well as tube treats like Churu - Still initially hesitant to be picked up, but she's quick to snuggle in her foster family's lap once she is there- Loves to be wherever her foster family is; quick to purr and has a very loud motor - A favorite pastime lately is to walk on top of whatever paper or laptop they're working on and steal a pen to play with on the floor - Loves exploring as well as napping - Did well with teens and pre-teens in her foster home, and also interacted with other school-age children; warmed up to the younger kids over time and now enjoys playing with them- Has seen dogs in her foster home but has not had one-on-one interactions with them; has been uncomfortable seeing them, but may warm up to a calm dog over time - Loves to play with other kittens and will play chase and wrestle with them before cuddling up with them for naps; would likely enjoy and benefit from having a cat friend in her new home All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age) Primary Color: Grey Tabby Weight: 3.31 Age: 0yrs 5mths 2wks
