Breeze

My story

Crème del a crème, the best of the best, a diamond in the rough all describe Breeze. Everyone at the shelter that has had contact with her has raved about her. It’s really difficult to figure out why the original owners have not come to reclaim her. Breeze is a 4 year-old 56 lb American Husky that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 8/29 as a stray. It looks like she’s been very well taken care of. When I brushed her, she sat down as though she’s used to being brushed. She was very patient. When I first took her out she casually strolled around the yard checking things out. There’s no doubt she’s curious and alert. Most of the time she hung out with me. She sits for treats and takes them gently. She went nose to nose with another dog. She showed some curiosity but no animosity! She walks very well on a leash. At one point when she was strolling along on the leash, she actually yodeled! It was so cute! She will need a tall secure fence and frequent brushings. She would not do well an apartment. This cuddle bug would like to snuggle with you in the house under the air conditioning.
