My story

Cookie is a 3-year-old, 22# Corgi mix ready to join your family! Cookie is potty trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She is microchipped, spayed, utd, HW-, and received a clean bill of health from the vet. In her foster home her favorite things are playing fetch with small stuffed toys and belly rubs on the sofa.    She is still nervous about sudden movement or noises so will need a family who can be calm and patient as she gets comfortable. She knows how to sit and come but is sometimes too nervous to obey, and like most dogs, would benefit from more training.     Best traits: Enjoys being with people she trusts Potty trained Crate trained Walks nicely on a leash Not destructive  Soft, cute, and cuddly Doesn't bark much    Likes: Quiet home living Calm, respectful kids (8+) Women and most non-bearded men  Indoor fetch  Small stuffed toys   Doesn’t mind: Vacuum and TV noises Harness  Stairs Baths and grooming   Alone time Dogs (not tested off-leash) Cats, at arms length (not tested up close)   Dislikes: Unexpected movements and noises Facial hair (beards) and big hat/helmets- she will need a female caretaker in her new home Loud trucks  Being picked up if very scared   If you are interested  in meeting Cookie, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at  https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms  We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home.
