My story

Meet Birdie – Your New Best Friend in the Making! Looking for a little ball of energy, fun, and love? Say hello to Birdie, a 5–6-month-old Mini Aussie mix who weighs just 14 pounds of pure cuteness! This girl may be small, but she’s got a big personality and even bigger potential. Birdie is the kind of pup who makes friends wherever she goes—she even used to greet customers at a beauty shop as a young puppy! She’s super friendly, loves people, and is especially good with kids (though her playful puppy energy means she’d do best with older kiddos rather than tiny toddlers right now). This smart girl hasn’t had much structure yet, so she’s a blank slate waiting for someone to guide her. With a little training and consistency, she’ll blossom into the perfect companion. She’s already working on her potty and crate training, rides like a champ in the car, and keeps herself entertained with her favorite stuffed toys. Birdie also loves other dogs of all sizes—she can hold her own with the big pups and has no problem keeping up! Cats, on the other hand, leave her a bit uncertain—she’s not quite sure if she wants to play with them or run from them ().   At heart, Birdie is a sweet, playful, adventurous puppy who just needs a loving family to give her direction, patience, and plenty of fun. She has the makings of the ultimate sidekick—whether that’s joining you on walks, road trips, or just being your happy shadow at home. If you’re ready to give Birdie the forever home she deserves, she’s ready to fly straight into your heart!  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue atccrtennessee@gmail.com and ask for an application or more questions.  She is currently in Nashville, TN and can be adopted locally but also can be transported to the Northeastern states on a certified transport van.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comAugust 29, 2025, 9:16 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt PUPPY BIRDIE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
