Murphy

My story

Allow me to introduce you to Murphy, an energetic two-year-old boy who thrives on attention and isn't shy about asking for it! He is quite vocal and has a true passion for his wet food—he lives for mealtime! While he gets along well with his fellow foster cat friends, he seems to prefer the companionship of humans. Murphy had a difficult start in life; he was found on the streets of Rochester, NY, in poor condition, with a wound on his face. Thankfully, he has healed beautifully and is now ready for a loving new home. Although we don't know much about his history, we suspect he may have experienced some abuse, as he occasionally shows signs of overstimulation. Therefore, we are looking for someone with prior cat experience. Murphy would thrive in a home with adults only or adults with children aged 13 and older who are familiar with cats. He should ideally be the only cat in the household, although we might consider a home with one other calm cat. We are unsure how he would react to dogs, but we believe his personality is best suited for a dog-free environment. Murphy is neutered, has received age-appropriate vaccinations, has been treated for parasites, tested negative for both FeLV and FIV, and is microchipped. I am not currently able to adopt to anyone living more than 1 hour outside of Rochester, NY. 2) I require a vet reference and will contact them. 3) Most of the cats in my care come from the streets and have had a bad start in life.
