My story

Wanda Wims A17739047 lb. spayed female, approx 2 years old -She likes to take long, slow strolls where she can use her nose to stop and sniff often. She’s not going anywhere fast.-She wants to check out and see everything that’s going on-Once she is done exploring, she was wiggly and excited to be getting pets-She’s treat motivated, sits and takes them very nicely-Not currently showing any interest in toys-She’s affectionate and gives lots of kisses-She even settled in for some belly rubs, but she doesn’t sit still long. Puppy energy!-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper introsUnknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
