Marigold

My story

Let me introduce you to Marigold. She came into the Mesquite animal shelter on 8/27 as a stray. Since she did not have a name, one of our volunteers suggested Marigold and it seems to fit her to a T! Marigold weighs 116lbs and is about 5 yrs old (perhaps a year or two older). She is listed as a Retriever/Lab mix. She is lovable, and would make someone a devoted and loving companion. And oh those beautiful soulful eyes! She walks well on a leash, knows the sit and paw commands and is well behaved, calm and gentle. She is also active and alert. Walking up and down the bay, she was very friendly with the other dogs and did not show any reactivity. She is a very personable and sweet natured girl, sociable and was A-OK with me giving her loving attention. Even though she is a big girl, she deserves to be inside with her people. I can’t emphasize enough her very lovable nature.
