If you see a pet here, they are still available for adoption and you should apply through our adoption application on our website at  https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/   Oliver is a 9 month old male Cane Corso Poodle mix (Canoodle) who weighs in at 82 pounds.  This dog's adoption fee is $725.  If you are still interested, please read more below. Oliver is a very friendly and very strong 82 pounds of pure puppy! He was surrendered because he was too big and strong for his owner to handle. Oliver wants to play with every dog he sees. He loves to run and play outside and is super excited to go on walks. As a result he needs to be placed with an active family.  According to the vet Oliver will probably not grow much more in height as he reaches adulthood, however, it is likely he could still gain up to 40 pounds in heft. Therefore it is recommended that he be placed in a home with older children. Because he is still a puppy he doesn't seem to understand that not all dogs want to play so he still needs work with socialization skills. Oliver knows "sit", "shake", and "outside". He is working on "off", "come", "wait" and learning leash manners. He is potty trained and crate trained. Oliver enjoys being brushed and leans into his foster mom for pets and butt scritches. He follows her everywhere. Overall he is a pretty lovable dog and eager to please.
