My story

Denali is a four-month-old German Shepherd mix who already shows off her smarts and confidence. At about 30 pounds, she’s well on her way with house-training and does great in her crate. She’s a playful, outgoing pup who thrives on activity, whether it’s chasing toys, playing fetch, chewing on a good bone, or romping with other dogs. Denali adores kids and loves being around people, though she’s still working on remembering to keep all four paws on the ground. Her foster mom describes her as affectionate, adaptable, and always on the go—this busy girl doesn’t do anything slowly. Denali’s high energy makes her a great match for an active home where she’ll have plenty of opportunities for both mental and physical exercise. She would especially benefit from a secure fenced yard to burn off her energy and continue growing into her best self. With her treat motivation, eagerness to learn, and love for companionship, Denali is sure to bring happiness and adventure to her forever family. Her minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
