My story

Emmy’s story is one of resilience and quiet strength! She appeared in my yard during June’s Phoenix heat wave, protecting her two kittens as temperatures climbed toward 115°. Once indoors, she showed how much she appreciates safety, comfort, and calm. Now that her babies are grown, Emmy is ready for a peaceful home where she can finally put herself first. She thrives in low-stress environments and bonds deeply with people who respect her pace. Emmy would do best as an only cat or with a calm, socially respectful feline companion after a slow introduction. She prefers to set clear boundaries and communicates discomfort rather than escalating.
