My story

Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Golden Bachelor seeking the love of his life. Poh Bear is a fit, 10 years young smaller English bulldog who has found himself back in the dating game later in life. He enjoys the finer things in life, as most English bulldogs do. His perfect date would start out with fine dining on some fancy kibble with a sprinkle of homemade protein on top (he's all about a balanced diet). With all that newfound mealtime energy, he'd be delighted to show you some of his favorite toys (while of course showing off his athletic prowess and fetching his toy for you over and over, or perhaps flexing and showing you his strength while chewing on his favorite Benebone). After all of that activity, of course he'd be the perfect gentleman and take you for a nap fit for royalty, curled up in the sunshine or in a soft blanket or pile of pillows (perfected to be in just the right spot before lying down, of course). What date would be complete without a chauffeured afternoon or evening car ride with the wind in your hair. Or perhaps you'd prefer a slow afternoon or evening stroll to stop and smell (and pee on) the roses. To make the date unforgettable, he'd delightfully share another fine dining experience with you and make sure to end the meal with treats this time. All before getting ready for the night with one last potty stroll and cuddling up in the bed with you all night. Disclaimer: He is still working on his manners a bit. And won't always open the door for you (or follow you through it, for that matter). He does get a bit excited for your attention at times and will make sure you hear all about it (literally). Though sometimes it's best to let him calm down before re-engaging with him. He can be quick to fall in love and mark his territory (again...literally). So his ideal match would be someone who's just as clingy as he is, or is able to provide a small, comfortable abode of his own to be in while you are apart. He is currently dipping his toes in the polyamory lifestyle and trying his hand (or paw, rather) with a lovely two-legged lady and another most handsome four-legged boi, and gets along swimmingly with both. As he has been out of the dating game since he was a pup-ster (and his dating experience so far is limited), he has not quite decided how he feels about other species of four legged loves or smaller two legged loves (though indifference is probably his current thoughts on them). Encouraging all eligible bachelors and bachelorettes to apply as his love knows no boundaries

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Poh Bear, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
