My story

Oreo is named for her charming black and white coat and her sweet disposition. Understandably, the shelter can be a pretty scary place - even with all the treats and love our staff and volunteers give. While in the shelter, we have seen that Oreo will purr, head butt and roll to rub her face in the soft bedding. Sometimes the petting and rubbing is just a bit too much and she can get a bit hissy and need a break. Luckily, Oreo is fantastic at giving herself a break. Oreo is looking for a home that will help her handle her big feelings about the world and teach her that people can be excellent laps to snuggle in and give great cheek rubs.
