My story

Sterling may seem a little shy at first, especially in his kennel, but once he’s outside he shows his true, friendly and sweet nature. This gentle boy walks beautifully on leash, making him an easy and enjoyable companion for strolls. His tail wags the whole time on his walk—especially when he spots other dogs—showing just how happy he is to be out exploring.Sterling enjoys treats and will happily accept gentle pets once he feels comfortable with you. This smart boy knows “sit.” His quiet, easygoing nature makes him a joy to spend time with, and while his face may look a little sad in photos, in person you’ll see his sweetness shining through.Sterling is a lovable, sensitive soul who just needs a bit of patience and reassurance to feel safe. With the right family, this shy sweetheart will blossom into a loyal and happy companion.Sterling has met other dogs at the shelter and shows a playful side once he feels comfortable.
