My story

🌿 Hi, I’m Mint – a happy, playful little girl looking for my forever home! 🐾 I was born in a city shelter where euthanasia was a real risk, but thankfully, my mom, my siblings, and I were rescued just in time. Since then, I’ve been learning what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a home. I spent about 3 months in a foster home where I got my first taste of family life, and now I’m waiting in a shelter, hoping for a family of my very own. 💚 I have a bright, cheerful, and easygoing personality. I love people and enjoy gentle cuddles and playtime. I get along great with other dogs and love playing with toys and my furry friends. Sometimes I bark at strangers when I feel unsure, but once I realize you’re kind, I warm up quickly. Most of the time, I’m quiet and calm, and I don’t struggle with separation anxiety. I have a medium-high energy level, which means I’d love an active home where I can play, explore, and enjoy daily walks or outdoor adventures. I’m still a puppy, so I’m working on my potty training. I mostly go outside, but I’m learning and improving every day with a bit of consistency and patience. I’m not really into chewing things I shouldn’t—I just like to nibble my toys when I play. I’m good with baths and I really enjoy walks! I'm still practicing car rides, but I’m getting better at it. When I was first rescued, I had a skin condition, but I’ve made a full recovery and now I’m a healthy, happy, and slightly chubby girl (in the cutest way!). I’ve grown stronger and brighter with every passing day—no known allergies or illnesses, just a bundle of love and energy ready to share. Because I’m still young, I’m learning about the world one pawstep at a time. But I’m eager, brave, and full of love. I know I’ll bring joy, laughter, and light into your life if you give me the chance. I’ve already survived a rough start—now all I need is a family to love me forever.
