My story

🐾 Hello, my name is Hoddeuk – and I’m ready to meet my forever family! 🐾 Not too long ago, I was rescued from a high-risk shelter where I was facing euthanasia… but now, thanks to kind people, I’ve been given a second chance at life. And now, I’m just waiting for the right heart to call mine. Maybe it’s yours? I’m a gentle, affectionate girl with a big heart and a love for people. I warm up to anyone quickly—especially if they have snacks! I get along well with children, and I’m totally comfortable around adult men too. I’m not shy with strangers either—my social skills are pretty top-notch, if I may say so myself. 🥰 I also love other dogs and would thrive in a home with a furry sibling or two. I often copy what my doggy friends do, which people say is pretty adorable! My leash manners are great—I don’t pull much, and if another dog barks at me, I usually ignore it unless my buddy joins in. Loud noises like motorcycles or big trucks can startle me a bit, and I might freeze for a moment, but I don’t run off. I just need a little patience and reassurance, and I bounce right back. I’m 100% potty trained outdoors and keep a regular schedule. I don’t mind light rain, but if it’s pouring, I prefer to hold it in—so I’ll need a little extra love and understanding on rainy days. I’m not picky with food (I LOVE to eat!), and I’m a total superstar when it comes to grooming—I’m calm for baths, drying, paw cleaning, and even toothbrushing! In fact, I enjoy brushing so much that I come running when I see the toothbrush. 🪥💖 I’m calm and quiet at home, and I don’t really have separation anxiety. But take me to an off-leash park and you’ll see my playful, energetic side come out! I know basic commands like “sit” and “paw,” and I ride in the car like a pro—no motion sickness here! I’m a sweet, gentle soul with a bright spirit and just the right amount of playful energy. After coming so close to never getting this chance, I’m hoping with all my heart for a family who will love me forever. Could that be you? 🏡❤️ Love, Hoddeuk 🐶
