My story

Meet Mater! Mater is an 11-year-old Beagle mix with a heart full of love. Found abandoned on the streets alongside his best buddy Bandit, Mater has shown nothing but sweetness and gratitude since being rescued. A Gentle Soul Mater is incredibly friendly and affectionate. He loves being close to people, soaking up attention, and of course—sniffing around like a true Beagle. He’s a calm, gentle companion who will happily curl up by your side. Healthy & Happy (With a Little Extra Love) Mater is in good health but could use a little help losing some weight. With daily walks and a healthy diet, he’ll be feeling his best in no time. Best Bud to Bandit Mater and Bandit have stuck together through everything, and their bond is undeniable. While they can each shine on their own, Mater would be happiest knowing his buddy Bandit is also safe and loved. Forever Home Ready Mater is looking for a warm, loving home where he can enjoy his golden years with comfort and care. He’ll bring plenty of love—and maybe a little snoring—to your household.
