My story

Meet Lavender Lavender is a 3-month-old female kitten who, along with her five siblings, was rescued from a very tough situation where 18 cats and kittens were struggling to survive. She was once skinny and malnourished, but with good care she is now healthy, spayed, and fully up to date on her vaccines. Lavender has blossomed into a playful and affectionate little girl. While she was a bit shy at first, she has warmed up beautifully and now enjoys being held and cuddled. She loves to run, chase, and wrestle with her siblings, keeping everyone on their toes with her energy. One of her quirks is that she prefers drinking water straight from the bathroom sink, and she’s known to be a little “door darter”—ready to dash out as soon as the door opens—so her forever family will need to keep a close eye on her adventurous streak! With her striking silver tabby coat and big, expressive eyes, Lavender is as beautiful as she is sweet. She has a playful, active nature but also loves cuddling up when the day winds down. Like all HART kittens under 6 months old, Lavender will be adopted as part of a pair so she can continue to thrive with a friend. She will do best in a home without small children or dogs, where her gentle but spirited personality can shine. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful kitten with a dash of mischief, Lavender may be the perfect fit for your family! HART recommends kittens 6 months of age and younger be adopted in pairs. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
