My story

Young&#44 wiggly&#44 and playful - three great words to describe me&#44 Athena! Iandamp;#39;m beautiful&#44 too&#44 with big&#44 soft brown eyes and a body to die for. I was surrendered for adoption because my owner no longer had a place for us to live. Dogs never understand when our owners disappear. It is confusing&#44 and in my case&#44 Iandamp;#39;ve been sad and a little nervous in the shelter. But Iandamp;#39;m beginning to mend&#44 and I am so happy that Great Plains exists so I could find a temporary home.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I have been an office mate to a staff member&#44 and she said I was well behaved. I was a bit anxious&#44 but I played with my toys&#44 and when my friend left&#44 I ended falling asleep in my bed. Definitely getting more comfortable. I am a friendly and social girl&#44 and I am eager to get out of my kennel and get outside for the beautiful weather. I am energetic and eager to learn&#44 and I like to be around my people. I will even fetch toys!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I am good around other dogs&#44 too&#44 even the wild and crazy ones it seems. Iandamp;#39;m hoping to get in some playgroups and enjoy friendship and camaraderie while I wait for you to find me. Are you looking for me? I promise I will make a wonderful dog.
