My story

On 8/26/25 I visited Pixie in her kennel. She was sitting at the front, tense. I offered treats, but she showed no interest and avoided eye contact. When I reached toward her, she shifted away from me. FAS 4 On 8/31/25 I visited Pixie at her kennel. She was barking and growling at the front. I offered treats which she took, but then began barking again when treats were gone On 9/2/25 I visited Pixie at her kennel. She was barking at the front, but calmed down when I offered treats. After that she stayed the front with a friendly tail wag and tried licking my hand through the bars. FAS 2-3 On 9/2/25 Pixie attended playgroup. She had to be carried outside. Once in the yard, she was initially tense with greetings. She quickly opened up to being friendly and social with a playful, puppy-like attitude. She enjoyed lots of little zoomies throughout the yard and was often submissive to other dogs. Total Q2-pa-2T A staff member says this about me on 9/4/25, "Pixie is starting to come out of her shell a little at a time. She will initially give you a low growl, but once you speak to her, she turns into a big baby. She'll gator crawl towards you for pets. She'll even offer you small tail wags. She needs a lot of patience and socialization."
