My story

Hi, I'm Clemence (but my friends all call me Clem)! I'm a very quiet, relaxed, and affectionate cat. I enjoy being pet and brushed all over and just spending time with my human friends-- I'll happily purr and bump my head into you, and crawl up for a cuddle. I also am a big fan of snack time, and enjoy catnip toys here and there. ____________________________ Clemence is being treated for skin inflammation and infection while in shelter care. This may have been caused by environmental or food allergies or other underlying cause and may require ongoing management, including further diagnostics or treatment, with adopter's veterinarian. My foster says "He’s an incredibly sweet cat. He adjusted very quickly. Within the first day he was out exploring the whole apartment and within a week he started purring. The first time he meowed was when i started sneezing due to allergies. It was a concerned meow. He doesn’t speak as much except for when he’s concerned with my sneezes. He’s very self sufficient and portions out his food himself. I fill up his bowl and water once a day in the morning. He doesn’t eat as much either. He does not jump on counters and knows how to ask for things when he wants it. He alerts me when he wants the door open or when he wants his food bowl filled. He loves to watch me get ready. He loves pets and playing around occasionally. He does not claw at furniture or try to eat your food. He is fully litterbox trained and does his business by himself. He’s very chill and a sweet pet to have if u have a busy life and need a quiet loving companion to come home to. He’s a well behaved and well trained pet and does well even if left alone for long periods of time. So he will do just fine if u have work or need to he outside for long. He gets attached very quickly as well."

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Clemence, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
