Name:   Cheyenne          Best Guess for Breed:   Terrier/Shepherd Mix Best Guess for Age:   9 mo as of Aug 2025          SEX:    female   Approximate Weight:   21 lbs as of 8/11/25 - she likely has a bit more to grow!   Gets Along With:  Other dogs, and children! We haven't seen her with cats, but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   DC area foster home.   Check out this video of Cheyenne: https://youtube.com/shorts/2nmnYb4XkVw.    Cheyenne is Looking For: Cheyenne is a sweet and playful pup looking for her forever home. With a friendly personality and a love for making new furry friends, she loves going to the dog park and is looking for someone to take her on long sniffy walks! Cheyenne is looking for a loving home where she can grow, explore, and be part of the family. She wants a space where she feels safe, gets plenty of playtime, and receives the guidance and affection she needs to blossom into the amazing dog she's meant to be. Whether it’s cuddle time on the couch or adventures in the park, Cheyenne is ready to be your loyal, fun-loving sidekick. Could she be the missing piece in your life? What My Foster Says About Me:  Cheyenne is a complete love-bug. She greets any human who will slow down to say hello, and thumps her tail happily when petted or permitted licks and kisses. She also likes other dogs and is getting along fine with ours, including the grouchy senior girl, with whom she is respectful and careful. She doesn't seem familiar with toys, but likes the big nylabones. She is doing well in her crate and is a quick learner!  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
